Springback compensation: FULLY AUTOMATED CAD Reconstruction |
| OmniCAD® MESHTRANSFORMER™ Module transforms CAD surfaces (NURBS, Bezier)
by using the information generated by your simulator (Autoform, PAM-stamp, others) ...in a fully automated process. |
| How to use it? Three mouse-clicks: |
| select the mesh of the original model generated by the simulator;
select the mesh of the springback-compensated model computed by the simulator;
select the surfaces of the original model you want to be transformed.
| Quality & Control. |
Other than being a fully automated system,
the MESHTRANSFORMER™ Module has two characteristics of paramount importance:
the transformed surfaces have the same quality of the original ones;
the quality of the resulting surfaces does not relate with the quality of the input meshes.
The OmniCAD® Analysis Tools help you to track down what's going on during the transformation, and to keep full control on the results.

| More TOOLS for other types of Deformation. |
| If you are dealing with a generic die deformation where more local control is needed,
or simply if you don't have the meshes generated by a simulator, OmniCAD® offers you other deformation Modules
like SPINETRANSFORMER™, SURFACETRANSFORMER™ and
DEFORMA™. |
| |
SPINETRANSFORMER™: Parametric angle deformation along a spine curve. |
| It's enough to select a spine curve and one or more control points along with their deformation angles,
and the SPINETRANSFORMER™ Module will transform the selected surfaces. The system is fully parametric and gives
you the possibility to change your input at run-time. |
| |
SURFACETRANSFORMER™: Parametric deformation of a model using two surfaces as input. |
| Just select one starting surface and one ending surface, and the SURFACETRANSFORMER™ Module will transform
the whole model using an automatically computed transformation which brings the first surface onto the second one.
The system is fully parametric and gives you the possibility to change your input at run-time. |
| |
DEFORMA™: Model deformation using general rules. |
| This Module can deal with all the cases in which specifically-designed Modules like MESHTRANSFORMER™ and
SPINETRANSFORMER™ cannot be used. |
